Swagman Escapee RV 2 Electric Bike Rack Review 2017 Toyota RAV4- Video

Swagman Escapee RV 2 Electric Bike Rack Review 2017 Toyota RAV4

Hi, everybody, Cooper here with etrailer, and today, we're going to be looking at the Swagman Escapee on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. The Escapee is going to be a platform-style bike rack, which can hold up to two bikes and does so by holding them by the tires. So it's important to know that, because for our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes, that means there's going to be no weight on the frame itself, it's actually held all within the tires. The bikes themselves are actually weighted for 60 pounds per bike each, so it will be able to hold those e-bikes as well too. So unfortunately, this bike rack is not a tilt away system, so if we want to gain access into our trunk, we're gonna have to take our bike off first, and we're gonna show you how that process goes right now. So our wheel hook's actually what holds our bike into place, so what we're gonna do first is actually come down to the wheel strap here, press our little lever right here, and it should slide right out, and we're gonna feed that back through the tire. more

Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima LongHaul on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. Now, right away, we can see this is a hanging style bike rack. It lets us fit up to four bikes on here and that's gonna be quite nice. Another nice thing about this dual arm support system, as you can see, you won't have a lot of play going left or right on these bikes. Yakima RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4

Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com. And today we are looking at Yakima Long Haul four bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. So this is a great bike rack because it is designed for use on RVs and motorhomes. So if you also have one of those and you're switching your bike rack between your different vehicles, this is a great option, because it works with all the vehicles. So the way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by one, two, three mounting points. So we have two at the top, and this one down here, which is our anti-sway cradle. So you can see as I shake it, how much it really reduces the sway. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota RAV4- Video

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota RAV4

Today on our 2015 Toyota RAV4, we're doing a test fit of the SportRack Ridge Hanging Style 5 Bike Rack, designed for 2 inch hitches. The part number for this is SR2405. The first thing we'll do is go over how the bike is strapped down. We've got 2 cradles and then 3 straps, 2 on the frame here and then one is your anti-sway strap in the back. It's going to keep a lot of the movement out of the bike so you won't damage your vehicle or your rack. To release those, we just pull down and lift up, and we save our anti-sway strap for last. Then we can just pull our bike off the rack and set it off to the side. more
